Chance in a Lifetime Receives Bronze and Finalist Awards

in the 2020 Feathered Quill Book Awards!

We are excited to to share that Chance in a Lifetime has won two more national awards! The 2020 Feathered Quill Book Awards were just announced, and Chance was honored in both categories entered, winning the overall Bronze Award in the Animals-Children’s/Young Adult category and a Finalist Award in the Animals-Adults category. It is such a nice experience to have the book recognized among so many entries and wonderful works in such a large national awards program. The judges’ comments included the following: “Every reader will fall for Chance. This teaches love and tenderness, and is a fulfilling story for readers.”

Chance in a Lifetime was honored with a 5-Star review by the well-respected professional review company Readers' Favorite! Chance was awarded with the top score of 5 in all six criteria categories. in 2019 Best Book Awards!

We are excited to announce that Chance in a Lifetime was honored with a Finalist Award in the 2019 Best Book Awards sponsored by American Book Fest! It is an honor to be recognized in this awards program among so many other amazing books in the Animals - General category and in the awards program as a whole. Thank you for the support of this new book, and it is both amazing and humbling to have the opportunity to display this award seal.

Local Author Showcase at the San Diego Public Library

We thoroughly enjoyed attending the wonderful reception unveiling the San Diego Public Library's Local Author Showcase, which includes Chance in a Lifetime! It was so inspiring to see all of the amazing books, chat with other authors, and talk about my work. We're very proud to have this book featured in the collection along with so many other great works! If you are in Downtown San Diego, be sure to check it out. The books will be on display in the showcase through all of February 2020, and then in March will move to a special section together and may be checked out. 2019 San Diego Festival of Books

We had an amazing time participating in the 2019 San Diego Festival of Books to promote Chance in a Lifetime! With the best team of little helpers ever, our booth was busy and energetic. We met so many nice and supportive people, swapped dog stories, made some great connections, gave away a ton of bookmarks and promotional swag, and sold signed copies. We're already excited for next year! Thank you so much to everyone for your support. The interest in this book just warms our hearts.
